Just a Friend - 1st AD

As the First Assistant Director on Just a Friend, a high-budget and highly ambitious passion project, I oversaw the coordination and execution of a fast-moving production spread across numerous challenging locations. The project required managing a crew of more than twenty-five professionals while maintaining tight control over scheduling, safety, communication protocols, and day-to-day logistical operations. From public spaces that required complete lockups to remote areas with limited infrastructure, each location demanded precise planning and the ability to adapt quickly under pressure.

The film’s scale introduced additional layers of complexity that required strong leadership and comprehensive oversight. I coordinated intricate company moves, supervised pre-rigs, facilitated work with intimacy coordination, and directed the flow of a large number of background performers in a crowded club environment. Across every stage of production, I ensured efficiency, clarity, and a collaborative atmosphere that allowed the creative team to push the film to its fullest potential. This project reflects my ability to manage large teams, navigate logistical hurdles, and uphold a high standard of professionalism on set.
